Nethertheless Rudolstadt only is a small town, you should take enough time
to visit the city and take part in a sight-seeing-tour. Often it is so, that traveling groups already after one and a half hour want to continue their trip into the next town. Then often essential parts of the sight-seeing-tour have to be shorter or couldn't be shown. A standard-sight-seeing-tour - "Historical Center of Rudolstadt and surrounding streets" - starts at the busstation and ends after 2 hours normally at the Town-Church or, if you want at another place. Ofcourse it's possible to end the tour at starting-point. But the time of the way to there will be added to the 2 hours. In the frame of a standard-sight-seeing-tour no inside-visits are possible. It would be too much for the short timewindow. But ofcourse such inside-visits can be organized for you. So it's possible to order a tour through the museums and Festival Rooms of Heidecksburg Castle, tours through the Town-Church Stadtkirche, the Farmer Houses, Schillerhouse, Old Cityhall and other. Sight-seeing-tours through Rudolstadt take place only by feet and at all typical Rudolstadtian weather-conditions.
